FRED HARRIS EDUCATION AWARDS 2024

Ten young students from Redruth’s primary schools have been rewarded for making a difference to their school and community by Redruth Charity Trust (RCT).

The RCT Fred Harris Education Award Scheme celebrates community spirit in students and supports school libraries with thousands of pounds for new reading books. At the end of the academic year, RCT Trustees visited the ten schools to present the new books and surprise each winning student – nominated by their teachers – with a certificate and a £50 voucher, marking a meaningful send-off for Year 6 students as they prepare for the next step in their educational journey.
