Redruth Charity Trust has received a considerable donation from the family of Teresa “Ann” Mitchell, a much loved Redruth resident who passed away aged 78 on 8th September 2019.

Redruth Charity Trust was chosen by Ann’s husband John and daughters Julie and Karen to receive the donations made at her funeral service.  A total of £687 was collected in Ann’s honour at St Euny Church on Thursday 19th September, where a large congregation of friends and family members remembered a special lady who loved Redruth.

Ann was a strong supporter of Redruth Charity Trust and great believer in the power of community.  These themes made the charity a natural choice for the fund, which will consequently benefit the town’s various clubs and groups.

The trustees express their sympathies to John, Julie, Karen and all of Ann’s family, along with sincere thanks for their support for the charity.
